Installing ToxBox could not be easier. Whether you want to just plug it in and forget it or wire your ToxBox filter into the furnace directly, we’ve got you covered.
ToxBox is designed to operate from a supply of 24 volts (max 30 V) AC at 2 VA. Do not connect ToxBox directly to 110V AC power! This WILL cause damage to the filter and WILL result in the failure of equipment. Please use the 110V to 24V adapter provided with your ToxBox.
Every ToxBox set comes with a handy 24V adapter that you can plug into a regular electrical outlet. Absolutely no electrical wiring experience is necessary!
1. Begin with taking out your ToxBox filter out of the package.
2. Turn off the power to your furnace. (Very important!)
3. Find your furnace panel, take it off and take out your old filter.
4. Slide the ToxBox filter into the filter slot.
5. Plug the power cord of the ToxBox adapter firmly into the power socket on the corner of ToxBox and plug the other end into a grounded outlet or power bar.
6. The LED light will come on to indicate your ToxBox has been hooked up successfully.
(Note: you may need to drill a small hole in your furnace cabinet to run the wire through.)
7. Enjoy your clean air!
You can wire ToxBox into your furnace, if you so choose!
Please read the instructions carefully before proceeding with the electrical installation. If you have any questions, please give us a call at 1-800-565-5326, and we will help you out.

2. Turn off the power to your furnace.
3. Take the split wire, which is included with your ToxBox set.
4. Hook the black wire to the grounded (C) terminal in your furnace and the white striped wire to the (R) terminal.

6. The LED light will come on to indicate your ToxBox has been hooked up successfully.
7. Enjoy your clean air!
